Group Class Descriptions
Our signature Barre FIT class fuses dance conditioning, Pilates and therapeutic stretching for a safe, effective total body workout at the ballet barre. It delivers an intense "burn factor" while remaining low-impact.
This time efficient class alternates high intensity cardio intervals ("power bursts") with strengthening exercises at the ballet barre. This class is among our most intense but modifications are offered for all levels. Prepare to sweat!
Ballet Barre (Adult Ballet)
A barre workout the way the dancers do it. Learn basic ballet exercises designed and adjusted to be accessible to all bodies and ages, regardless of fitness level. No dance experience is necessary.
Learn to move from your powerhouse (core) with strength, precision and control after this challenging yet gentle class of functional exercises performed on a mat. We follow the tried-and-true Method of Joseph Pilates with creative innovations offered to benefit the unique needs of each client.
An introduction to Hatha yoga asanas (poses) and prana (breath) for those new to practicing yoga. More experienced practitioners looking to deepen the fundamental poses of their practice are also welcome.
A challenging yet gentle workout that simultaneously strengthens and stretches the body while helping address and correct body alignment. The Reformer is an apparatus that offers both assistance and resistance using straps, pulleys and springs. Reformer classes are kept to a maximum of three participants to ensure individual attention and safety.
A vinyasa style yoga class that links breath with movement to create an energizing sequence of postures.
Stretch & Restore
Learn methods of incorporating therapeutic. meditative and restorative movement into your daily life. Using techniques from yoga, bodywork and Pilates, your instructor will guide you through a relaxing movement sequence perfect for winding down from your day.
